Childcare Services

New Mother Services and Childcare Services at the 40th AAAR Annual Conference

For nursing mothers

The Raleigh Convention Center provides two complimentary Mamava mobile lactation suites for visitors. These pods are located on the Main Level and the Mezzanine Level of the venue. With hospital-grade surfaces with two built-in benches, shelving, and mirror, outlets, and USB ports, and two ventilation fans provide 32dB of white noise and are capable of air-change rates of at least 79 ACH, the suites offer a clean, comfortable and private option for pumping and breastfeeding. Please note that there is an electric outlet in the pod for convenience, but no refrigerator.
